Peacock recently released new character posters for the Friday the 13th prequel series Crystal Lake, showcasing Linda Cardellini as Pamela Voorhees and Callum Vinson as young Jason Voorhees.
The promotional images highlight the mother-son dynamic with the tagline “Before Jason… There Was Pamela” and emphasize the series’ focus on the origins of the horror icon before he becomes the masked killer.
Synopsis:
A prequel to the Friday the 13th franchise, the series follows single mother Pam Voorhees who has been unable to shake her grief after her young, sickly son Jason tragically drowned in the town lake almost a year before. When two strangers arrive at Pam’s door digging into her past, a disturbing chain of events are set into motion, leaving the townspeople of Crystal Lake wondering: just who is Pam Voorhees?
All eight episodes of Crystal Lake will premiere on Peacock on October 15, 2026.
